Karma "Oupse the Soupe"

We started working with Jérôme right at the start of Fred’s adventure. After being a ski instructor, travel agent, publicist.. he launched a company designing unique products sold in the “hippiest” stores worldwide (Colette in Paris, MoMa in NYC…) and on our first online store (up yours ashtray, Tank Soliflore, beach towels, Limoges porcelain cigarette holder….). Jérôme’s primary motivation in all his projects has always been to find, meet, convince and work with the best craftsmen to make his ideas possible!
Jérôme and I are very much the same: we leave aside (too often) mainstream and too obvious ideas, we share the same hobbies as well as a long hesitation before becoming “father” (our kids are the same age)…Yes, our big mouth betrays our Frenchness; still, it is offset by our endless curiosity, which has led us to explore many different facets of the world and people: If you visit this webpage, you will agree that remaining passive, facing the absurdity of our society, can hardly become a sinecure!!
His new Soup project is a wink to the 80ies and to a product that every kid was familiar with. The apparent reference to the famous “kn..r” brand stops here as all the rest e.g. packaging, ingredients, recipe is in another league.

He recently moved to Marseille to improve his work/family balance: we know for sure it’s been a success, as he has very often answered our calls during standard working hours while lying on the beach!
